Alred Eisenstaedt, born in 1898 used his 97 years of life to record the history of this century. Most widely known as one of the brilliant talents working for Life Magazine he produced 5 decades of famous covers and one of the single most widley known photographs in the world: the famous "V-J Day Kiss " capturing the wild joy with which Americans greeted the end of World War II.
